Cats suffering from neurological disorders affecting the neck and upper spine can find relief with the Balto® Neck Feline compression brace, which aids in recovery from hernias and spinal injuries. This non-neoprene compression brace gives a feline's neck additional support and stability, preventing it from moving around adversely. The brace is designed to be worn comfortably by the cat in conjunction with its own collar, providing everyday support.

BRACE APPLICATIONS

  • Sprains and strains of the neck resulting from whiplash, injury, and sudden movements
  • Pre- and Post-surgical support
  • Chronic neck pain management
  • Protection of vertebral injuries
  • Protection of feline cervical hernias

BRACE FEATURES

  • An adjustable, wide collar that provides optimal neck support in two positions. In order to help restrict the neck's flexion and extension, the extended side can either support below the neck or run down the spine in the opposite direction.
  • The brace can also be used for conditions such as arthritis and arthrosis.
    • Compression helps increase blood flow in the affected area, which helps reduce stiffness, pain, and inflammation
  • Adjustable straps ensure an excellent fit

Learn How Properly Fit the Balto Neck to Your Cat

The superior materials used to make Balto® braces eliminate the need for neoprene - a material that harbours bacteria, offers insufficient support, and wears out rapidly. A snug fit is guaranteed by a range of sizes. Straps should not pinch.

When taking an indoor-outdoor cat outside, take the brace off first.

Veterinarians should be consulted before use in cases involving felines of any age. For pets younger than 2 years old, it may be necessary to use a brace for increments of time in order to avoid any potential growth disruptions.

  1. Remove as much hair as possible from any Velcro® frequently to prevent compaction.
  2. Use lint roller or lightly adhesive tape to remove hair from the material of the brace.

  5. Hang to dry. Once the brace is completely dry, it is ready for use!
